Point Two Air jackets have been offering support to riders of all types and disciplines for over 2 years now, with many of the world’s top event riders now using the Point Two ProAir jacket. Point Two are now able to offer the next generation of rider a safer route to becoming all they aspire to be with the Child’s ProAir.
The Child’s ProAir works in exactly the same way as the adult jacket, offering virtually instant coverage to all major thoracic and upper abdominal organs plus the collar of the neck, rib cage and spinal area.
Jacket inflation is phenomenally fast and is fully inflated in 0.1 of a second from activation. Once inflated the Childs ProAir will hold the child tightly for approximately 15-20 seconds, during this time the Childs ProAir will be able to withstand up to 1 tonne of pressure on top of it. The Child will still have the full movement of their waist, arms and partial movement of the head to enable the child to tuck and roll.
On mounting your horse/pony the Child’s ProAir is connected to the saddle via a lanyard system. One end of the lanyard is attached to the Child’s ProAir the other end is clipped on to the saddle attachment. This allows the child their full range of movements whilst in the saddle. The Child’s ProAir is activated when the rider is falling from their horse. At this point the lanyard pulls the trigger pin from the jacket which activates the inflation process, being fully inflated in 0.1 of a second. The Child’s ProAir will slowly deflate itself after activation and will be flat within 2-3 minutes. Once the Child’s ProAir has been inflated the CO2 canister will have to be replaced and the trigger reset into its correct position prior to the jacket being reused.
Please ensure you follow your governing body’s rules whilst using your Point Two Child’s ProAir.
Child’s ProAir are only available in Black: sizes – small – medium – large
